Another day in the books...Jackson had his 4th swim lesson today. Maclaren and I watched patiently for 15 minutes...then went to take advantage of our 2 week Splash and Play pass. Jackson later told me he swam "all the way to the blue wope in one bwef". "All the way to the blue rope, in just one breath?" I replied.
I had a shoot with Anna-her 6 month shoot. She has the cutest smile, however, I'm not sure I was able to fully capture it.
Other than that our day was pretty uneventful. Oh, Jackson had Rawley over today. I'm not sure how that actually went. Jackson is a little bossy.
I have a little girl that's about to fall out on my leg so that's all.

Recent pictures

A random picture I took of a snow day.I finally got some pettiskirts and took a few shots of Maclaren. I was hoping to make her a green tutu (the sew kind). I had a mishap and will be cutting all the tulle off of the elastic and will try it again. The black pettiskirt seemed to do fine though. The boots are one of her favorite things!
Catching Up
While the kids are eating their afternoon snack I will try to catch up on everything that has been going on....
Jackson is in T-Ball this summer. The rain has made it impossible to actually have a game, but he's got a game shirt. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will be able to have the game scheduled for tomorrow night.
Jackson had VBS last week at the FUMC. He truly enjoyed the week, the stories we heard every day were extremely animated. He did have a bad day the last day...one of his friends from school told him that he had a new friend that he liked better than Jackson. It broke my heart that it upset him so much. I took the kids to the pool and a boy that is interested in the same things Jackson is, was there...they had a blast. I didn't hear anymore about that "friend" after we got back from the pool.
Maclaren seems to like the water and I anticipate that she will (purposefully) go under water before the end of the summer.
The summer is packed full and I'm afraid that will make it go by so fast. My little boy will be going into kindergarten in a few months. My days will be much quieter. The first few days may be nice but I think I will grow to miss his constant jabbering of the jaws!
Mom and dad are coming for a week!!! I'm excited as they usually only get to stay a few days at the most. Jackson doesn't know yet...I figured that would be better. Plus, it's an awesome surprise when they get here!
Kids are finished with their snack, hopefully a nap is in store for all!
